Near Peer Coaching Webinars

 

Near Peer Coaching for Primary

Near Peer Coaching for Primary will enable primary schools to build a cohort of Near Peer supporters within their schools to help support near peers in earlier years. Near Peers support younger peers in one-to-one format allowing the young clients to have a space within which they are listened to non-judgementally and helped to take responsibility for managing their own learning and well-being. Primary schools take up the Elevate accredited one day programme.

Near Peer Coaching for Secondary

Near Peer Coaching for Secondary will enable schools to build a cohort of Near Peer supporters within their schools to fill the well-being service gap. Near Peers support younger peers in one-to-one format allowing the young clients to have a space within which they are listened to non-judgementally and helped to take responsibility for managing their own learning and well-being. Schools take up Elevate accredited one day, or Association for Coaching Accredited two days or 5-day programmes.

Association for Coaching Award in Coaching (Certificated by The Association for Coaching)

This is a practitioner level course accredited by the Association for Coaching, and the first step towards setting up your own coaching business or leading coaching in your organisation. In this 56 hour course you will learn core coaching skills, coaching ethics, contracting, client factors, and at least one coaching model. By the end of the course you will be a confident coach and receive a one year membership to the Association for Coaching. You will receive the Award in Coaching accredited by the globally recognised Association for Coaching

Requirements: To attend 80 % of sessions. Complete the accompanying workbook for formative assessment. Complete 10 hours of self-study. Carry out 6 x 1-hour coaching sessions to be confirmed by your coachee. Write a 1500–2000-word reflection on your coaching practice. Deliver an observed 20-minute coaching session.

Award in Coaching Skills and Techniques Accredited by the Association for Coaching. (5- Day Programme for high achieving secondary school pupils - Practitioner Level)
